Job summary

Houston Food Bank is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to support the Sourcing team by coordinating stewardship activities for donors, maintaining donor data, and ensuring timely communications and follow‑up. This role helps ensure donors receive a positive experience through accurate tracking, timely recognition, and proactive stewardship.

Adhere to PACT values and assist in sourcing efforts to enable managers to focus on relationship building and donor growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1 year of experience in a related field (non-profit, database management, fundraising, administrative assistant).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns execution of the Donor Stewardship Playbook, ensuring all stewardship activities are completed on schedule.
• Maintains the donor recognition program by tracking data, recognition levels, mailings, gifts, and annual activities.
• Researches and prospects potential donors through online research, phone calls, and outreach to establish relationships.
• Oversees donor appreciation efforts, including handwritten letters, campaigns, and social media/blogs.
• Maintains donor-facing communications and stewardship resources.
• Coordinates donor engagement activities including recognition events and experiences.
• Reviews donor activity reports daily to identify new donors and follow-up needs.
• Recommends improvements to donor engagement and recognition efforts.
