Job summary

Claremont McKenna College is seeking an experienced Planned Giving Specialist to support the Office of Planned Giving, delivering excellent customer service to alumni, parents, and donors while safeguarding confidentiality and accuracy in gift processing.

Reporting to the Director of Planned Giving, you will maintain prospect and donor records, handle life income gifts and tax forms, prepare acknowledgments, manage reports, and assist with training workshops and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in administrative support; experience in planned giving preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain prospect and donor records.
• Oversee life income gifts, bequest gifts, and tax forms.
• Process donation receipts and acknowledgement letters.
• Prepare correspondence and large mailings.
• Organize travel arrangements and meeting materials.
• Assist in planning workshops and events.
