Job summary

The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence is seeking a Manager, Donor Relations to build and sustain strong donor connections and manage the donor benefits program. Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving, you will shape strategies to engage, retain, and steward donors while ensuring timely delivery of benefits and customized communications.

Responsibilities include creating personalized donor communications, coordinating events, tracking stewardship metrics, and maintaining donor records.

Qualifications

• Experience in donor recognition and donor engagement strategies.
• Minimum 3 years of professional fundraising experience.
• At least 1 year in donor relations or related nonprofit field.
• Experience with donor databases and relationship management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Write and distribute donor communications to inform and engage supporters.
• Develop and execute in-person and virtual donor briefings.
• Plan weekly acknowledgments and donor thank-you letters.
• Create donor cultivation plans and ensure effective engagement.
• Coordinate fundraising events with stewardship and cultivation components.
• Lead Donor Appreciation initiatives and anniversary recognition.
