Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country is seeking a Resource & Development Director to lead fundraising and resource development efforts by cultivating donor relationships, securing grants and sponsorships, coordinating events, and strengthening community partnerships for long-term sustainability.

The role centers on individual donor cultivation, grant management, planned signature events such as Piece Out and Beef Raffle, and working with the CEO, board, volunteers, and local partners to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent nonprofit experience.
• Experience in donor cultivation, grant writing, events, or resource development.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage priorities.
• Proficiency with donor management systems and data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, solicit, steward, and retain individual donors.
• Develop and manage grant opportunities from prospect research to reporting.
• Plan and execute fundraising events and donor engagement activities.
• Maintain donor records in the database and generate reports.
• Collaborate with CEO, board, volunteers, and partners to drive fundraising goals.
• Promote campaigns through coordinated communications and outreach.
• Monitor fundraising progress and event financials.
