Job summary

Peoria Park District is seeking a Development Coordinator to support donor, member, and volunteer records and help manage Raiser's Edge, RecTrac, and related systems. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, reporting, and collaboration with the development team.

You will assist with board meeting support, acknowledgments, tax receipts, and stewardship communications while helping transition to newer software and improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Minimum of two years of office, administrative, nonprofit, fundraising, or related experience.
• Strong data accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality in donor records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook; experience with Raiser's Edge/CRM systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor, member, volunteer/board member, and constituent records in Raiser's Edge, RecTrac, and related systems.
• Process charitable gifts, pledges, memberships, sponsorships, and related transactions with accurate record keeping.
• Generate reports, queries, dashboards, and data exports for development, membership, financial, and operations needs.
• Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare materials, record minutes, and maintain records for board/committee meetings.
• Prepare donor acknowledgments, tax receipts, pledge reminders, and stewardship communications.
• Support front-line fundraising by maintaining donor activity records and entering contact reports.
