Job summary

The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Philanthropy Coordinator to support the Philanthropy team. The role focuses on donor communications, records management, and coordinating donor activities in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.

The position is hybrid (Monday–Friday) with opportunities for career advancement. Prior nonprofit or foundation experience is a plus and emphasis is on strong administrative skills and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Less than 2 years of experience required.
• Non-profit or foundation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support gift officers with their portfolios by managing correspondence and donor records.
• Manage the cultivation/stewardship plan for each donor and assist gift officers with tracking and scheduling of next steps.
• Secure all appropriate project information, proposals, and impact reports for gift officers to use during donor visits.
• Schedule donor visit appointments via phone and e-mail; maintain donor information in the database with confidentiality.
• Create reports reflecting gift officer activity and performance; manage departmental calendars and expense reports.
