Job summary

University of Minnesota is seeking a Donation Operations Coordinator for the Anatomy Bequest Program. This role supports administrative, operational, financial, and donor eligibility screening functions in a high-volume program.

You will liaise with families, healthcare partners, funeral partners, and agencies while ensuring compliant intake screening, logistics, and records management. The position is on-campus four days a week with a potential one remote day per week; limited after-hours work

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or 4+ years related experience.
• Experience in higher education, health center, or anatomical donation settings.
• Experience with record-keeping, HIPAA, and compliance.
• Experience with purchasing, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrative contact for donors, families, and partners.
• Manage donor records, consents, and essential documentation.
• Coordinate logistics for cremated remains, transport, and interments.
• Support program events, meetings, and office operations.
• Assist with financial workflows, procurement, and accounts payable.
