New England Donor Services (NEDS) seeks an Organ Clinical Coordinator I to join our mission-driven team. This medical admin role blends on-site and remote work, coordinating donor suitability, organ recoveries, and transplant logistics.

You will answer referrals, liaise with transplant teams, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience or 3 years in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience; or 3 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced healthcare or medical setting
• Organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Comfortable with managing conflict
• Must live within 60-90 minutes from Waltham, MA

Responsabilités

• Answering incoming referral calls, screening for donor suitability, and coordinating logistics of organ recoveries and placement for transplantation
• Serve as a hospital/transplant center point of contact for organ donation and transplantation
• Collaborate with transplant surgeons, transplant coordinators, and hospital staff to facilitate the transplant process
• Support life-saving and life-enhancing initiatives through efficient, accurate coordination
