CancerCare is seeking a detail‑oriented Gift Processor (Part-Time) to join the Advancement Operations team in New York, NY. You will ensure timely, accurate processing of charitable gifts and maintain donor records in Virtuous CRM with a strong focus on stewardship.

The role emphasizes data management, donor communications, and collaboration with multiple departments to uphold the organization’s fundraising standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in gift processing, donor database management, data entry, or nonprofit administration preferred.
• Experience with CRM databases or fundraising software, preferably Virtuous, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming gifts (checks, online donations, donor-advised funds, stock gifts, matching gifts, workplace giving).
• Enter and update donor and gift records in Virtuous CRM accurately and efficiently.
• Verify gift coding, campaign assignments, and fund allocations; review batches for accuracy and completeness.
