Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin is seeking a Donor Specialist to perform phlebotomy and donor screening while delivering an exceptional donor experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered service in a high-quality environment.

The position requires a High School diploma and preferred 1–3 years of people-facing experience, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. A strong attention to detail and comfort with blood collection equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year job-related experience preferred.
• 1-3 years relevant people facing experience preferred.
• Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs donor screening (collects donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Treats donors with customer service excellence and provides a service-centric donor experience.
• May conduct automation (Alyx and/or Trima) and recruit donors for automation.
• Contributes to a positive team culture and employee experience.
• Maintains product integrity and completes department records.
• Observes donors for reactions and provides reaction care.
