Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a part-time ADC Donor Specialist to evaluate and process donated goods at the Shakerag ADC in Suwanee, GA. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate sorting and timely production while providing excellent guest service.

You will interact with donors, issue receipts, and follow safety procedures. The role supports the organization’s mission to help local job seekers and offers benefits such as weekly pay and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work at any Goodwill of North Georgia ADC within the territory as needed.
• Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods to sell in Goodwill of North Georgia Retail stores.
• Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Always display a professional, patient, and

• attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following agency and departmental standard operating procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized donor door area/ADC location.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management.
