Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a part-time Donor Specialist at our Madison, GA location. You will examine and grade donated goods for resale, sort items, and assist guests with questions while maintaining a clean donor area.

The role requires basic math/reading skills, and strong English communication and interpersonal abilities. You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting store operations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work at any Goodwill ADC within the territory as needed.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale.
• Sort donations into designated categories and maintain a neat donor area.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating; assist guests with questions.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Adhere to safety practices and participate in trainings and meetings.
