Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Donation Express Attendant at the Franklin DEC to welcome donors, assist with unloading donations, issue receipts, and safeguard items.

You will maintain a clean, organized donation center, record daily donations, and communicate donor counts to supervisors while upholding Goodwill's hospitality and mission. Experience with customer service preferred; the role requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently with minimal

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with the public is desired.
• Must lift/carry over 50 lbs.
• Must push/pull loads over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple addition for paperwork.
• Ability to work independently toward goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality and high level of customer service to donors, including issuing donation receipts.
• Unload donations promptly and carefully and sort/pack items.
• Maintain a clean, organized donation center workspace.
• Record donations and assist with daily donation summaries.
• Communicate donor counts daily to management.
• Organize supply table and report needs/ hazards.
• Assist transportation staff with sweeps and trailer exchanges.
• Attend mandatory DEC meetings and participate in safety practices.
• Distribute information about Goodwill and its mission to donors.
• Follow company policies and legal requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
