Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Donation Express Attendant in Jackson, TN. The role focuses on welcoming donors, issuing receipts, and ensuring donations are sorted and packed securely.

You will maintain a clean donation center, collaborate with staff, and help complete daily donation summaries while representing Goodwill’s mission with a friendly, professional attitude at all times.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with the public is preferred.
• Must be able to lift/carry over 50 lbs and push/pull loads over 50 lbs.
• Able to read, write and perform simple addition for paperwork.
• Must demonstrate mature, neat appearance and professional conduct.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse people.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors promptly and provide donation receipts with courtesy.
• Sort and secure donated items in proper receptacles.
• Maintain a clean, organized Donation Express center area.
• Record donations and assist with daily donation summaries.
• Communicate activity and needs to supervisors as required.
