Qualifications

• Experience working with the public is desired.
• Must be able to lift/carry over 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write, and perform simple addition to complete required paperwork.
• Must have the ability to provide for own transportation to all assigned donations centers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to relate well with all people.

Responsibilities

• Offer hospitality to donors, provide receipts, and greet donors promptly and cheerfully.
• Be prompt and consistent in attendance and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Open and close the site on schedule.
• Sort and secure donations as directed by management.
• Accurately record donations and assist with daily donation summaries.
• Communicate donor count to supervisors every work day.
• Keep the DEC area clean and safe, report hazards.
• Attend mandatory DEC meetings and distribute informational materials.
