Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Donor Greeter who welcomes donors, assists with donations, and helps keep the donation area organized. You will serve as a friendly first contact and support store operations while ensuring safety and accuracy in donation records.

This role fits individuals who value teamwork and community service, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed. Prior experience in retail, warehouse, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome donors and assist with unloading and bringing donations into the store.
• Serve as a friendly first point of contact for donors and visitors.
• Accurately record and maintain donation log documentation.
• Sort donated goods into appropriate categories for processing and transportation.
• Follow safety procedures when handling donations and operating equipment.
• Address donor and customer concerns courteously and seek leadership support when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized donation area and store environment.
