Job summary

Network for Hope (NFH) in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Donation Support Services Evaluation Coordinator (DSSEC) to assess potential donors and coordinate with hospital staff, tissue processors, and partners, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the donation process.

The DSSEC will conduct thorough donor evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, provide guidance, train teams, and support SOP development while collaborating with quality and regulatory affairs to uphold standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent required; Associates degree, medical-related certification, or some post-secondary education strongly preferred.
• Experience: Two or more years' experience working in an OPO or with tissue processing and distribution. Requires excellent typing and data entry skills, ability to multi-task, experience using multi-line phone systems, EMR and extensive medical terminology specific to healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Back-up position to the DSS staff to obtain and document patient medical and social information from partners.
• Ensure pertinent referral/case information is communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with external partners and provide necessary follow-up.
• Identify final suitability for tissue donors.
• Provide clinical information to tissue team or Administrator on-call.
• Be available for call during scheduled shifts.
