Network for Hope (NFH) in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Donation Support Services Evaluation Coordinator (DSSEC) to assess potential donors and coordinate with hospital staff, tissue processors, and partners, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the donation process.
The DSSEC will conduct thorough donor evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, provide guidance, train teams, and support SOP development while collaborating with quality and regulatory affairs to uphold standards.
At Network for Hope (NFH) the Donation Support Services Evaluation Coordinator (DSSEC) plays a critical role in assessing and facilitating the organ, tissue, and eye donation process. This position involves evaluating potential donors, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The coordinator will perform evaluations, providing expert guidance and support throughout the donation process. The DSSEC works closely with hospital staff, tissue processors, and internal staff members.
Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent required. Associates degree, medical-related certification, or some post-secondary education strongly preferred.
Experience: Two or more years' experience working in an OPO or with tissue processing and distribution. Requires excellent typing and data entry skills, ability to multi-task, experience using multi-line phone systems, EMR and extensive medical terminology specific to healthcare.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: CTBS, Medical Assistant, LPN, or similar preferred.
