Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Membership Services Specialist for Wisconsin Public Radio and PBS Wisconsin. The role centers on donor stewardship, CRM workflow development, and partner collaboration to support a vital public-service mission.

The position reports to the Membership Services Manager and involves direct donor contact, fundraising goal support, and accurate transaction processing. Hybrid work is available with on-site training and occasional remote tasks.

Qualifications

• Established work history in one-on-one customer relationship building.
• Experience with CRM databases and interpreting donor data for fundraising.
• Fluency in Excel and other Microsoft products.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a point of contact to members and colleagues and assists with inquiries in accordance with established fundraising best practices, policies, and procedures, either on the phone or in person
• Engages in, or oversees training, answers questions, and serves as a resource to the unit
• Manages the fulfillment and distribution process for donors or customers
• Troubleshoots technical and collaborative functions to maximize the efficiency and efficacy of the unit
• Analyzes financial and/or inventory data, reports and records, identifies discrepancies, investigates, recommends, and implements basic solutions as needed
• Collaborates with colleagues to contribute to unit planning and strategy
• Processes financial transactions, following established policies and procedures to ensure accurate recording, reporting, and reconciliation
