Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Membership Services Specialist to join the Wisconsin Public Radio and PBS Wisconsin membership team. You will manage donor communications, support fundraising goals, and ensure accurate processing of transactions.

This role reports to the Membership Services Manager, collaborates across development, and may involve evening/weekend drives; hybrid work with on-site training, and flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience building one-on-one donor relationships.
• Experience with CRM software and donor data interpretation.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a point of contact to members and colleagues and assists with inquiries in accordance with established fundraising best practices, policies, and procedures, either on the phone or in person.
• Engages in, or oversees training, answers questions, and serves as a resource to the unit
• Manages the fulfillment and distribution process for donors or customers
• Troubleshoots technical and collaborative functions to maximize the efficiency and efficacy of the unit
• Analyzes financial and/or inventory data, reports and records, identifies discrepancies, investigates, recommends, and implements basic solutions as needed
• Collaborates with colleagues to contribute to unit planning and strategy
• Processes financial transactions, following established policies and procedures to ensure accurate recording, reporting, and reconciliation
