Job summary

The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Development Associate, Donor Services and Engagement.

This full-time role focuses on donor records accuracy, gift processing, acknowledgments, and data management to strengthen fundraising operations. You will support donor cultivation through prospect research, journey mapping, and multi-channel communications, including emails and direct mail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fundraising operations or donor services experience.
• Experience managing donor records in a CRM and processing gifts accurately.
• Experience with prospect research and major gift fundraising preferred.
• Ability to draft donor communications and stewardship materials.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator for EveryAction, ensuring data accuracy and consistent coding.
• Process charitable contributions, including gift entry and acknowledgments.
• Generate donor thank-you letters and tax receipts in a timely manner.
• Respond to donor inquiries and provide excellent donor service.
• Reconcile gifts with Finance and produce donor and revenue reports.
• Manage donor lists, segmentation, exports, and mailing files.
• Assist with donor communications, journeys, and multi-channel campaigns.
• Support cultivation events, meetings, and stewardship activities.
