Job summary

The Alliance for Children’s Rights seeks an experienced Individual Giving Manager in Los Angeles to cultivate and steward donor relationships across annual, major, and planned giving. You will partner with leadership to manage a growing donor portfolio and drive engagement strategies that deepen philanthropy and impact.

This role offers flexibility to work from home or in the Alliance office in Los Angeles, with a focus on donor engagement, strategy, and collaboration with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3–5 years of fundraising experience
• Experience building donor relationships
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with a CRM system preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain written engagement plans for assigned donors and prospects, identifying next steps and timelines.
• Build and advance a pipeline of mid-level donors and emerging major and planned giving prospects through research and cultivation.
• Qualify donors through outreach, meetings, and discovery conversations to understand interests and potential for involvement.
• Schedule and participate in donor meetings that communicate impact and advance cultivation and stewardship goals.
• Lead donor solicitations for assigned portfolio and develop personalized stewardship and recognition opportunities.
