Job summary

ChicagoCAC is seeking an Individual Giving Manager in Chicago, IL to lead the organization’s annual fund strategies and donor engagement. You will manage a donor portfolio, supervise the Development Coordinator, and oversee gift processing, acknowledgements, and stewardship activities.

You will develop multi-channel campaigns, build donor relationships, and use data to drive fundraising strategy. A background in nonprofit development and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant fundraising, nonprofit development, or related experience; or at least eight years in lieu of a degree.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills for funder communications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
• Ability to build relationships with donors, colleagues, program staff, and internal teams.
• Experience with fundraising databases and prospect research tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-channel annual fundraising campaigns.
• Manage a donor portfolio focusing on annual fund donors.
• Supervise the Development Coordinator and oversee core donor operations.
• Create donor stewardship materials and reports; maintain dashboards of donor trends and portfolio performance.
• Partner with colleagues on donor-facing materials and in-kind giving strategies.
