Job summary

ChicagoCAC is seeking an experienced Individual Giving Manager to lead annual giving, build donor relationships, and supervise the Development Coordinator. You will manage a portfolio of donors, develop strategies for retention and growth, and coordinate stewardship across the organization.

The role emphasizes DEIAB alignment, data-driven fundraising, and collaboration with teams to meet revenue goals while supporting vulnerable children and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of fundraising or nonprofit development experience.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with donors, staff, and internal teams.
• Experience with fundraising databases or prospect research preferred.
• Experience engaging organizational leadership or volunteers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and evaluate multi-channel annual fundraising campaigns.
• Develop donor segmentation, testing, and engagement strategies.
• Manage a portfolio of annual fund donors and deepen engagement.
• Create routine stewardship activities and donor communications.
• Oversee corporate engagement through in-kind giving and drives.
• Maintain documentation in Raiser's Edge and develop dashboards.
