Job summary

The Louisville Metro Government is seeking an Individual Giving Coordinator to advance fundraising initiatives at the Louisville Zoo project. You will manage a portfolio of individual donors, develop solicitation plans, and engage new and existing supporters to meet revenue goals.

You will prepare donor proposals, analyze giving trends, maintain accurate donor records, and collaborate with staff and volunteers to expand philanthropy and events, reporting to the Development Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, English, public relations, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develops individualized donor engagement and solicitation plans and monitors progress toward established individual giving revenue goals.
• Manages a defined portfolio of individual donors and prospects, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention activities.
• Prepares customized donor proposals, solicitation materials, and case statements for individual gift opportunities.
• Research donor trends and giving patterns and analyzes data to inform individual giving strategies and recommendations.
• Represents the organization at donor meetings, cultivation events, and public engagements as assigned.
