Job summary

The Zoological Society of Milwaukee is seeking a Development Coordinator to join a friendly, professional team supporting the Milwaukee County Zoo. Under the Senior Development Director, this full-time role provides administrative and project support to help meet Development Department goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and events, maintaining donor records, budget tracking, invoicing, and assisting with sponsorship activities and reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and a minimum of four years related experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe and Smartsheet.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of administrative and project support for the Development Department including scheduling of meetings (including logistics), preparing materials, correspondence and reports.
• Coordinate and attend development stewardship and cultivation events, assisting with logistics, presentations and creative materials to support event goals.
• Support the sponsorship manager and program by maintaining accurate tracking documentation and follow up, recording program activities and deliverables, coordinating sponsor logistics, and compiling materials into recap reports that summarize program outcomes and sponsor engagement.
