Job summary

San Antonio Zoo is seeking a Development & Stewardship Manager to lead donor stewardship and engagement across all giving levels. You will craft meaningful experiences, coordinate events and VIP engagements, and ensure donors feel informed and valued.

Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, you will work across the Development Department to strengthen relationships, maintain accurate records, and support annual giving, campaigns, and communications with donors.

Qualifications

Two years of administrative or leadership experience in non-profit development.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with a donor database and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Lead donor stewardship and engagement strategies across all giving levels.
Coordinate donor experiences, meetings, events, and VIP engagements.
Maintain accurate donor, campaign, gift, pledge, recognition, and engagement records in development systems.
Support capital campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
Prepare reports, presentations, and fundraising materials.
Collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality donor engagement.
