Job summary

Nourishing Hope is seeking an energetic Individual Giving Associate to support our fundraising strategy, build donor relationships, and drive campaigns from our Chicago headquarters with a hybrid schedule.

You will collaborate with the Manager and Director of Individual Giving to grow annual giving, host donor tours, and manage moves for grassroots supporters, helping to sustain our mission in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-2 years of fundraising experience.
• Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office and relational databases such as Salesforce and online fundraising portals.
• High level of attention to detail and emotional intelligence.
• Excellent oral and written communication and persuasion skills.
• Knowledge of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies and techniques.
• Ability to initiate and build relationships with prospective donors and interact via telephone and in person.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage up accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Grow overall individual giving revenue through identified strategies.
• Schedule and host donor tours and visits with team members to engage donors.
• Manage moves management for grassroots donors and a portfolio of lapsed mid-level supporters.
• Assist with recurring giving program accounting for $468K+ in annual revenue.
• Lead research and identify new prospects within the assigned portfolio.
