Hoyleton Youth & Family Services in Illinois seeks a Development Coordinator to advance fundraising and donor engagement efforts. You will coordinate projects, manage donor relations, and support capital campaigns and corporate partnerships.

Responsibilities include donor profiling, analytics, event sponsorships, and ensuring timely stewardship communications. The role requires collaboration across teams to strengthen donor relationships and achieve fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Three years of fundraising, nonprofit administration, project coordination, donor relations, or related experience preferred.
• Experience working with donor databases and managing fundraising data.
• Must meet DCFS/CANTS clearance requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Track campaign pledges, donor engagement, and progress toward fundraising goals.
• Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and campaign participation in the donor database (Salesforce).
• Monitor giving trends and campaign metrics to identify opportunities for donor relationships.
• Support Director of Philanthropy and CEO with donor cultivation strategies.
• Prepare donor profiles, research summaries, and briefing materials for major gifts.
• Identify potential major gift prospects from giving history and engagement.
• Coordinate timely follow-up, acknowledgements, and donor communications.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship strategy to strengthen relationships.
