Job summary

TrueCare is seeking a Donor Relations Manager to support fundraising efforts and deepen connections with the donor community. You will spearhead donor campaigns, manage communications across channels, and collaborate with MarCom and other departments to expand the donor base and reach strategic goals.

The role requires several years of fundraising experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant area.
• 5+ years of fundraising experience.
• Experience with donor databases and fundraising software.
• Working knowledge of social media marketing, corporate communications, and copywriting.
• Proven track record of planning successful fundraising events.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel or work occasionally outside normal shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develops, cultivates, and maintains strong relationships with current donors and foundations.
• Oversees creation of compelling donor content across multiple media channels.
• Plans and executes internal and external fundraising campaigns and events.
• Maintains donor brand standards and expands engagement through social media.
• Plans events to celebrate donors and raise awareness of TrueCare’s mission.
• Maintains accurate donor records and tracks gifts for reporting.
• Develops donor recognition strategies and partnerships with sponsors.
