Job summary

Pioneers is seeking a Donor Communications Manager to lead a high-impact donor communications program. You will manage annual calendars, craft major donor proposals, and draft direct mail letters, newsletters, and thank-you notes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Experience in communications, fundraising or related fields.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage an annual campaign calendar for donor communications and improve communication strategies.
• Write major donor proposals annually.
• Draft ongoing direct mail letters, newsletters/reports, and thank you notes.
• Draft other donor communications as needed.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Director of Donor Engagement to fulfill pieces on time.
• Oversee in-house fulfillment of communications and volunteer lead for mailings.
• Continually research and learn about new ways to enhance donor communications strategies.
• Write proposals and reports for assigned foundations.
• Collect, maintain and update information about field projects.
• Serve as backup on MOU/reporting for the Global Project Manager.
