Job summary

MUHSEN is seeking a Donor Experience & Engagement Manager to oversee how donors connect with and grow within the organization. The role bridges fundraising and marketing to craft meaningful donor experiences, boost retention, and create pathways for deeper donor impact.

Responsibilities include shaping donor journeys, increasing recurring giving, and collaborating on campaigns while leveraging data to optimize donor strategies and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or growth-related roles.
• Experience working with donor data and CRMs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with donor lifecycle strategy and retention.
• Exposure to digital campaigns or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Shape and manage the donor journey from initial gift through long-term engagement.
• Build pathways that move donors from one-time giving to recurring and higher levels of support.
• Identify and engage donors with strong potential for increased giving.
• Design thoughtful, consistent donor experiences across campaigns, events, and communications.
• Build systems for follow-up, stewardship, and ongoing engagement.
• Support growth in overall donor revenue through retention and upgrades.
• Work with leadership on engaging and cultivating high-impact donors.
• Build and grow the Monthly Recurring Revenue stream.
• Support and grow non-traditional giving channels (DAFs, stock, crypto).
• Partner with marketing to align campaigns with donor journeys.
• Use data to improve donor strategies and CRM organization.
