Job summary

The Alliance for Children’s Rights seeks a mission-driven Individual Giving Manager in Los Angeles to cultivate and manage a portfolio of annual, major, and planned giving donors. You will partner with senior leadership to shape engagement strategies, solicit gifts, and expand support for children and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit development, or related work.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with donors, customers, or stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience using a donor database/CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of donors for annual, major, and planned giving.
• Cultivate and steward relationships to expand philanthropic support.
• Prepare donor briefings, summaries, and meeting materials.
• Coordinate donor meetings with senior leadership and simulate engagement strategies.
• Track activity and outcomes; support recognition and impact communications.
• Support campaigns and donor engagement initiatives.
