Job summary

ASU Foundation, in partnership with the W.P. Carey School of Business, seeks a Development Officer to drive leadership and annual giving initiatives identifying and securing gifts up to $50,000.

You will engage donors, alumni, faculty and staff to expand a high‑performing prospect pipeline aligned with Foundation goals. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will manage a portfolio, plan cultivation, solicit gifts, and steward donors using Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or currently enrolled in bachelor's degree program.
• Willingness to learn fundraising principles for annual and unrestricted gifts.

Responsibilities

• Actively engages with donors, alumni, faculty, staff and volunteers to grow leadership and annual giving.
• Manages a portfolio of prospects with gifts up to $50,000, conducting acquisition, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
• Plans and implements strategic engagement activities, events and stewardship aligned with ASU Foundation objectives.
• Uses donor database systems (Salesforce) to maintain confidential information and coordinate with university teams.
• Prepares budgets and supports campaign progress and annual giving goals.
