Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five to seven years in development or fundraising.
• Experience implementing multi-year cultivation strategies.
• Proven success closing major gifts.
• Experience with higher education fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordinated fundraising and engagement activities for the W. P. Carey School to increase annual, major and principal gifts.
• Manage a donor portfolio with a focus on gifts at or above $100,000 and a personal fundraising goal of $2M+.
• Collaborate with faculty, directors and alumni to leverage prospect potential.
• Guide proposals and materials to secure significant philanthropic investments.
• Mentor staff and volunteers and ensure compliance with prospect management guidelines.
