The ASU Foundation, working with the W. P. Carey School of Business, is seeking a Director of Development in Tempe to lead strategic fundraising efforts and expand major gifts in support of ASU’s mission.

The role requires strong leadership, donor relations expertise, and the ability to coordinate with university partners to advance philanthropy and alumni engagement in a dynamic higher-education environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5–7 years of fundraising experience or similar.
• Demonstrated success in securing major gifts.
• Ability to lead a team and manage moves-management strategies.
• Experience with donor relations, prospect research, and stewardship.

Aufgaben

• Lead and design coordinated fundraising programs to increase annual, major, and principal gifts.
• Manage a personal major gift donor/prospect portfolio with a target of $100,000+ gifts and a fundraising goal.
• Collaborate with campus leaders and stakeholders to identify prospects and develop cultivation plans.
• Guide proposals and collateral materials for significant philanthropic investments.
• Ensure donor stewardship and recognition activities are executed effectively.
• Manage 2–4 direct reports and mentor staff/volunteers.
• Maintain knowledge of key donors and coordinate cross-unit fundraising efforts.
