Job summary

ASU Foundation for A New American University seeks a Development Officer for the W.P. Carey School of Business to implement a comprehensive leadership and annual giving program. You will identify, cultivate, and secure gifts up to $50,000 while collaborating with ASUF and the business school team.

You will engage with donors, alumni, faculty, and staff, manage a portfolio, and coordinate strategic cultivation, solicitations, and stewardship to advance university fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with donors, alumni, and colleagues.
• Ability to analyze information, prepare reports, and support development objectives.
• Discretion and high ethical standards in handling confidential donor information.

Responsibilities

• Engage with donors and prospects to foster leadership and annual giving programs.
• Manage a portfolio of prospects with capacity up to $50,000, including cultivation and stewardship.
• Collaborate with prospect research to identify discovery prospects for core portfolios.
• Support strategic fundraising, events, and engagement activities.
• Coordinate solicitation efforts and align marketing and outreach for development programs.
• Staff and engage donors at ASUF and ASU events and programs.
• Use Salesforce and other databases to maintain confidential development activity records.
