Job summary

ACH Child and Family Services is seeking a Donor Engagement Manager to design and execute donor engagement, stewardship, and annual giving programs. You will report to the Development Director and manage donor lifecycles across individuals and corporate donors, using CRM data to optimize outreach and outcomes.

The role emphasizes donor-centered fundraising, collaboration with staff, and facilitating engagement opportunities such as briefings, site visits, and stewardship experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a business, communication or liberal arts field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated fundraising experience with emphasis on donor engagement, stewardship, and annual giving.
• Experience using constituent relationship management (CRM) systems to inform strategy, track engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
• Demonstrated organizational, leadership, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish annual giving and donor engagement goals with tactical plans to achieve them.
• Manage the annual giving program, including donor acquisition, renewal, upgrades, and campaigns.
• Design and implement donor onboarding, engagement, and stewardship strategies for long-term relationships.
• Develop donor journeys and moves-management plans for individual and corporate donors, guided by data and capacity indicators.
• Oversee donor acknowledgment and recognition efforts with timely, accurate communications.
• Coordinate donor communications across email, direct mail, phone, text, and personal outreach with staff.
• Collaborate with program leadership to translate mission impact into donor engagement opportunities (briefings, site visits, stewardship experiences).
• Monitor and report on donor engagement and annual giving metrics using CRM data for continuous improvement.
• Lead and coach annual giving and development staff to ensure donor-centered practices and high-quality stewardship.
• Support the Development Director on special fundraising initiatives, including events and cross-department campaigns.
