Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Pasadena, TX seeks a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and administer immunizations per SOPs. The role includes limited emergency care, training others, and ensuring compliance with SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines.

You will work across center operations, document donor information, and collaborate with licensed physicians to address abnormal results while maintaining donor confidentiality and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program.
• Current, valid state license/certification as allowed by state.
• CPR certification is required.
• 1 year hospital or plasma center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history, physicals, and consent discussions per SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as trained.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as logs and eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to maintain donor-focused environment.
