Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis. The role includes administering approved immunizations, supervising SOP-compliant operations, and providing limited emergency care within licensure.

You will work across center operations and coordinate with physicians on abnormal results. The position requires a healthcare-related degree and active CPR certification, with preference for prior plasma center or hospital

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program (Physician, LPN, or RN).
• EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced/Paramedic certification or license where allowed by state.
• 1+ year of hospital, field care, or plasma center experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• State-issued authorization or license to perform moderate complexity testing.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent in line with SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system (NexLynk).
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as trained and licensed.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality, and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer for workforce development.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to ensure an efficient, donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
