Job summary

The California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco seeks a Development Information Services Coordinator to manage gift processing, database support, and fund reconciliation. You will serve as primary liaison to Accounting and help maintain procedures for gift acceptance and contribution tracking.

The role requires strong Tessitura knowledge, meticulous data work, and the ability to train staff while supporting Development goals.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Tessitura for gift processing.
• Strong skills with Google Suite, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and deadline focus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process gifts in Tessitura accurately and timely.
• Batch, review, and commit gifts with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with Accounting to deposit contributions.
• Reconcile revenue totals with Accounting monthly/quarterly.
• Train staff on Tessitura and develop procedures.
