Job summary

Walking Mountains is seeking an Development Operations & Database Manager in Avon, CO. You will administer the donor database, process gifts, and prepare acknowledgments while coordinating with Finance on QuickBooks reconciliations.

You’ll support prospect research and moves-management to strengthen fundraising outcomes. The role requires collaboration across Development, Marketing and Finance teams, with a focus on data integrity, reporting accuracy, and donor stewardship.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of nonprofit development operations and donor database experience.
• Experience with donor acknowledgment procedures and financial reconciliation.
• Experience with Bloomerang, OneCause, and related fundraising platforms preferred.
• Strong Excel/Word and Google Workspace skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer Bloomerang and related donor databases with data integrity.
• Process gifts promptly and prepare donor acknowledgments and tax forms.
• Generate fundraising reports, giving histories and donor stewardship data.
• Coordinate with Finance for monthly reconciliations with QuickBooks.
• Support events and moves-management activities for donor engagement.
• Research new donors and prospects to aid cultivation strategies.
• Maintain accurate donor contact information and classifications.
