Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a part-time Donation Door Attendant to serve as the front-line representative of the organization at the Cape Coral location. You will greet donors, record donations, and help sort items in accordance with established procedures.

You will maintain a clean, safe donation area, provide receipts, and deliver excellent customer service while following all policies and safety guidelines. The role offers a supportive team and a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or donor handling experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers with a friendly demeanor, eye contact, and excellent customer service.
• Receive donations by loading items from donor vehicles into hoppers, recording donations, and providing donation receipts.
• Evaluate donations using established guidelines and communicate when items cannot be accepted.
• Thank donors for their contributions and maintain courteous interactions.
• Maintain clean, neat donation areas inside and outside the facility.
• Follow all safety policies and use PPE.
