Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Donation Door Attendant to act as the front-line representative of the organization, receiving, recording, and sorting donated goods, while ensuring excellent customer service to donors.

The role requires standing for extended periods, ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, and to work a part-time hourly schedule at our Fort Myers location. Join a mission-driven nonprofit that supports Southwest Florida through donations and community programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds; team-lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers with a friendly demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
• Receive donations and record them; provide donation receipts.
• Evaluate donations and communicate items that cannot be accepted.
• Maintain clean, safe donation areas and sort donations per guidelines.
• Follow safety policies and complete required training.
