Job summary

Jobtailor in Ohio seeks an individual to assist with the blood collection process at fixed-site donor centers, connecting with donors and explaining the impact of donations. You will work with a team to foster a welcoming environment and ensure safety standards are followed.

The role requires lifting and standing for long periods, with flexibility for irregular hours and travel between Cleveland, Parma, and Akron donor centers. Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting is required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.) preferred.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.
