BioBridge Global is seeking a Donor Care Specialist I at fixed donation sites in Texas. The role involves medical screening, whole blood phlebotomy, and donor care within SOPs and BBG/ STB&T policies, delivering world-class customer service.

Requires a high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification preferred; no prior experience required, though phlebotomy experience is a plus. Must be able to work rotating shifts and be flexible to donors' needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• No prior specific work experience required; phlebotomy experience preferred in a blood/plasma center.
• Must acquire knowledge of donor processing criteria, medical terminology and geography.
• Must have strong customer service and computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Report to work as scheduled.
• Deliver an outstanding donation experience by exceeding donor expectations.
• Maintain regulatory compliance by completing training and competency assignments on time.
• Perform the quality control function (including documentation).
• Determine donor eligibility through verification, medical history interview and screening procedures.
• Obtain donor consent prior to donation.
• Perform whole blood phlebotomy.
• Assess, treat and report adverse donor reactions.
• Perform record review and data entry.
• Pack collected blood products according to defined manufacturing plans.
• Ensure records and blood products are legible and correctly labeled.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
