The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford seeks a seasoned Senior Vice President & Chief Development Officer to lead its philanthropic enterprise and drive growth across campaigns, endowment, and donor engagement. Reporting to the CEO, the SVP & CDO will build a pipeline of major gifts, mentor a high-performing team, and partner with volunteers to advance Federation priorities.

The role requires strategic fundraising leadership, CRM proficiency, and a track record of securing significant gifts,

Competenze

Progressively responsible fundraising experience with leadership of a development function.
Track record of personally securing major gifts, including six-figure commitments.
Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing fundraising teams.
Experience leveraging CRM systems, moves management, and data to support fundraising.
Strong strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial management skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced education or credentials valued.

Mansioni

Lead, coach, and develop the Development team with clear roles and goals.
Drive growth across the Annual Campaign and major gifts programs.
Cultivate and steward significant donors and prospects in partnership with leadership.
Integrate endowment, legacy giving, and CRM to optimize donor engagement.
Collaborate with volunteer leadership and cross-functional colleagues to execute strategy.
