Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time retail associate to maximize store appearance, process donations promptly, and support customer service.

You will sort donations, tag items, and stage merchandise on the sales floor in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a background check is required. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combined education and experience considered.
• No prior experience required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect donations and classify for sale or recycling.
• Sort and tag donated items for display.
• Stage items on the sales floor according to rotation standards.
• Meet daily production minimums and maintain clean uniform standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Be willing to cross-train in multiple roles.
