The Thrift Store Associate at Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, Inc. is a fast-paced, physical role focused on receiving donations, sorting, tagging, pricing, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.

You will stand for long periods and may lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining organized stockrooms and adhering to safety standards. This full-time position requires weekday availability with weekend flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations and inspect items for quality.
• Sort, grade, and tag merchandise for pricing and sale.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor on rolling racks and carts.
• Maintain organized stockroom and ensure accurate labeling for e-commerce and clearance.
• Follow safety procedures to keep a clean, secure work environment.
• Provide excellent customer and donor service, including receipts and assistance.
