Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, Inc. is seeking a Thrift Store Associate in Troy, NY. This full-time, on-site role involves receiving donations, sorting, tagging, pricing, and prepping merchandise for the sales floor while maintaining safety and organization.

The position requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with weekend flexibility. Benefits include health, retirement, and transit perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service, donation processing, retail, or warehouse environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Sort and process donations including textiles, housewares, electronics, shoes, and accessories.
• Tag and price merchandise according to company standards, meeting production goals.
• Prepare items for transport to the sales floor and fixtures.
• Organize items for e-commerce and clearance departments with accurate labeling.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean and secure environment.
• Provide friendly customer and donor service and issue receipts when needed.
• Support store efficiency and productivity in daily tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
